With improving conditions and anticipation of the State’s re-opening of several recreational activities, including youth baseball/softball, we would like to inform you all that we will be starting organized baseball and softball play on July 6, 2020!

Over the past few months, we have had numerous discussions with representatives of our governing body, Little League International as well as our local leaders to prepare a response and safety plan which will allow our children and parent volunteers to gather once again on the field.

Please click on the "2020 Little League Safe" tab at the top of home page  to review our 2020 Commencement Safety Plan which until further notice, will serve as our guidelines. Please note, as conditions continue to improve regarding social distancing, our Safety Plan will be modified accordingly. 

Given these unprecedented measures, our Board has made the following decision for the 2020 summer season:

• Upon approval, all boys and girls already registered within our National League, American League, and Junior Softball divisions will be able to continue with their respective teams this summer.  We anticipate having at least 10-12 games along with regular practices for all participants which will conclude in mid-late August followed by a shortened in-house playoff/championship.  Further, these children will also eligible to be selected to represent our Town in a District 20 “All-Star” tournament (12U and 10U baseball/softball) which will likely be formed and played in early September (one more chance for our graduating 12 year olds to compete against neighboring little leagues and try for another “banner”!)
