Eastchester and Tuckahoe, New York. February 21, 2017.

It is with excitement and enthusiasm that the Tuckahoe Youth Association (TYA) and the Eastchester Little League (ELL) jointly announce the merger of their softball programs. The merger will create one of the largest girls’ softball programs in Westchester County. The newly-combined program will be known as "TEB Softball." TEB -- which stands for Tuckahoe, Eastchester, and Bronxville -- will be comprised of girls who live and/or attend school within the Town of Eastchester and the Villages of Tuckahoe and Bronxville.

TEB Softball will have more than 200 girls playing at the 8U, 10U, and 12U levels, i.e., girls born between January 1, 2004 and December 31, 2010. The program will have a full spring schedule, including interleague games, holiday tournaments, and play-offs. Interested girls can also sign-up for summer and fall travel programs and instructional clinics. Games will continue to be played throughout the Town of Eastchester on ELL and TYA fields, including Labriola and O’Rouke (Garth Road) fields. Managers, coaches, and families from each of TYA and ELL are encouraged to volunteer and become involved in the exciting and new TEB Softball program.

Leadership of the TYA and ELL softball programs has facilitated approval of the merger by their respective organizations, and is excited to have the girls of Eastchester, Tuckahoe, and Bronxville learning and developing together as part of the new larger program. TEB Softball will play under the International Little League charter of ELL, and be eligible to compete annually in the Little League Softball World Series tournament.
